Kabelio: The solution to continue watching the old English channels from Intelsat 27.5ºW

No, the Kabelio access should be activated after the CI+ module is received.

The CAM or Kabelio CI+ module supports up to 4 services simultaneously. 

To distribute the signal in large installations with headends, such as hotels, apartments, communities, etc., this transmodulator allows up to 8 channels at the same time (100% compatible with Kabelio).

Trivia about Intelsat 27.5ºW

Satellite's full operational lifespan is typically 15 years, after that time it must be replaced or given a little more life with fuel. Intelsat 901 is about 20 years old and will come to an end over the course of 2024. In 2018, it was loaded with some fuel to keep it functional for a few more years.
